Removing Front Seats - Shawn Scott

To ANYONE removing seats be noted!!
Have yourself a Mini TorchGOOD quality E10 Reverse torque Socket
And...
Irwin 5/16 and 1/4 socket bolt extractors handy you'll likely need em!! On 2 I had to goto the lower 1/4 size and literally go Mike Tyson on the sledge
I heated each bolt for at least 15 minutes glowing orange to get heat into core of the stud. Out of 6 so far only 2 came off with normal quality snap on socket and that's no joke they must have used a damned robot to torque the fuckers in!!
Not a finish line yet but here's example of the frustration with these GARBAGE E10 Torque bolts they use on our rails!!

Lots of time and over 100 bones into getting these fucking things out. Guess I gotta commit to either getting em covered or diff seats to make this BS worth it. One thing is 100% these kind of bolts are NOT going back in. I'm gonna find some conventional style high grade M10x1.250 bolts to replace these without this BS Dinky Torque head.

YEG 86/BRZ Club Rules

With recent events in the club and increasing amount of unknown members, we have decided we are going to be upholding some rules and values within the club to ensure our club remains fun and reputable.

1.      No personal attacks. This includes attacks on someone’s person, their car, their tastes, mods, income level, abilities or anything of the sort.
2.      No trolling. No repeat posts that are pessimistic or blatantly negative and insulting. Also no spamming or repeat posts about senseless or unrelated items.
3.      No racial slurs. Racial slurring invokes certain feelings that may have negative effects on other members who would not share the same humor or find it as funny.
4.      Freedom to sell. If an individual is selling or wanting to buy any items, please respect that individuals intentions and reply only with valuable information that would help with the sale. Not discourage it.
5.      Club members must have owned and operated either a Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, Toyota 86, GT86 or an AE86 Corolla.
6.      Members must promote the cars and the club in good faith and any issues or problems arising from the leadership or running of the club brought to the attention of an Admin

Obviously, these rules appear a bit strict. There are several posts below that violate several or all of these rules. The main rule here is INTENTION. We are very open to personal jokes or personal teasing, as long as the intent is CLEAR that you were not attempting to insult the member personally.  There are now 5 admins with equal amount of power to enforce. In event the member is called into question, all admins will contact the member and if action is not taken, the member will be kicked.
